Hey, hi, hello! I’m Claudia, or Claud’s Boards to you.
I draw, I paint, I run around town writing up chalkboards for businesses and parties big and small.
I live in Melbourne and when I’m not in the studio, I spend my time getting out of it and into nature.
I’ve been creating for a long as I could pick up a pencil. I grew up in rural NSW and have moved across the world a couple of times, leaving a trail of drawings in my wake. Melbourne is home now, and I love this city for all it’s worth.
I love colour and patterns and trinkets and travel. My oil paintings tend to explore all of these in detail. I’m entirely self-taught, so everything you see is a product of practice and patience. Painting is perhaps the only thing I can do for hours on end without getting bored.
Oh - that and chalkboards. I can also do chalkboards for hours. Having honed my skills through years of being the onsite chalker at countless hospitality jobs, I love to design up new ideas. Give me some chalk, give me some time, and I promise I’ll dream up a masterpiece.
