Hey, hi, hello! I’m Claudia.
I live in Melbourne and when I’m not in the studio, I spend my time getting out of it and into nature.
I’ve been creating for a long as I could pick up a pencil. I grew up in rural NSW and have moved across the world a couple of times, leaving a trail of drawings in my wake. Melbourne is home now, and I love this city for all it’s worth.
I love colour and patterns and trinkets and travel. My work is obsessed with the patterns, layers, colours and mess that make up the fabric of the everyday. It’s the beauty of the small moments and the magic of the mundane.
I’m entirely self-taught, so everything you see is a product of practice and patience. Painting is perhaps the only thing I can do for hours on end without getting bored.
